My face is swollen. The pain is slowing going away. I can still ride, hurray! I need to thank Andrea V. for stopping during the race. I didn't realize she didn't finish the race because she stopped to help out with the carnage. That was pretty cool. Bits and pieces of the crash are coming back to me. I still don't remember hitting the ground or how I got from the course to the sidewalk. Not really sure why I started this post. Ah..now I remember. DRAMA! I'm tired of drama. I had enough if it while in highschool and can't seem to figure out why there is so much drama involved in cycling. Does anyone have an answer to this? I try not to get involved in it because I have better things to focus on in life. Just my two cents. I am not pointing fingers at anyone. I'm simply tired ot everyone complaining. I guess it doesn't only happen in the cycling community. It happens everywhere. I suppose I need to just get used to it...or else wear my iPod 24/7 :). Anyway I'll leave you with some pictures. Some of them might be gory though. Also, thanks to everyone who left me comments about my crash. It's nice to know people care!

Hey I was going to ask how the rest of your weekend went, oops. Hope you heal up fast, it's not fun nursing road rash
Hey, I think after making literally a "face-plant" you have the right to talk about it. "Complaining" is something different. People that complain, normally have nothing to complain about...
Drama free zone!
Are you going to make it out for the Mississippi River Trail ride coming through Burlington?
amanda, i'm glad you're healing up and racing again. Take care! Superweek????
