"I never cheated"

Wow....check out today's article on VeloNews.

"Today I'm ending my career as a professional cyclist. I never once cheated as a cyclist," said Jan Ullrich, who called the press conference in Hamburg to discuss his future. "I still don't understand why I was not allowed to compete in the Tour last year."

Now who do you think is going to finish well in the Tour de France?

Doping allegations lead to retirement. Why can't this sport just be clean?

Find a professional sport with any sort of cash payout that is. Best not take this stuff too seriously, relying on your racing to put food on the table will make you do crazy things.
