Another stage down here in Silver City, NM. Today was the 25.9km time trial. Here's the profile:
I was off at 11:16. The legs felt alright, but I didn't really warm up all that well for the race. There was a lot of wind, which was a problem. As you can see, the course started uphill. So I started in my small chain ring. I tried to keep a steady cadence and pace going up hill. The wind started to take it's toll on me though. I really don't have much to say about the time trial other than I survived. I finished 27th with a time of 42:53. This kept me in 25th place for the G.C., but knocked me down to 10:42 from the lead. Anne, however, killed it today and placed 4th. Awesome job!!! Ok, that's all I have for now. More to come later. Tomorrow is the criterium. Peace!
