I'm sitting in DIA, waiting for my flight to Chicago. Everything went well when I checked in, so lets keep our fingers crossed that it continues to do so. I fly from Chicago to Madrid, Spain. Then from Madrid to Toulouse. Should be there around 10:20am Tuesday morning. That translates to 2:20am Colorado time (3:20am Iowa time). I have a long flight from Chicago to Madrid, so hopefully I can catch some sleep.
It's been a hectic week. I ran in to some issues getting my bike on one of my flights on my previous airline. Note to travlers with bicycles: triple check with your airline that your bike will follow you. I was originally going to travel Lufthansa, but when I called to ask how much it was going to be to fly with my bike they said one of my connecting flights was too small for it to go on. What crap! So now I'm flying Iberia. I didn't get charged for any luggage as of now, so that's even sweeter!
I'll try to post updates along my journey. I have a long lay over in Chicago. Anyway, keep checking back for updates. I'm going to try and keep this thing as up-to-date as possible!!
