Humph...

Looks like I missed out on a heck of a race at the Tour of Elk Grove. The top three in the Women's Cat 3/4's race were all women I raced against at Super Week. Who knows who I could of ended up. Nice job though to Christine Roettger of Team Xplane Revolution (1st), Kristen Meshburg of Team Flatlandia (2nd), and Christy Keeley of Wolverine Sports (3rd).

Since I decided to move out to Colorado early and miss out on the two big Chicago weekends, I went ahead and sent in my upgrade. I'm officially a 2. Whether or not it's a good thing, I don't know. I haven't tried any races out here yet. There's two next weekend though. Should be hard as they are both above 9000feet. I also have to purchase another license. Don't quite understand it, but whatever!

The riding out here is amazing, as expected. Sure do wish I knew more people though. I've done more solo rides this past week then I've done in my entire cycling career. Ok, so maybe I'm exaggerating, but still. There's pictures on the link from my last post. Enjoy!

Congrats on the upgrade :-)

There's a recovery ride on Monday at 6 from the Rio restaurant (just west of Mountain and College in Old Town). Lila and I do this one when we have time.

And there's a training ride that leaves Lee's (north side of campus on Laurel) at 5:30 on Wednesday. I've never done it but people say it's a good ride.

A lot of people aren't back for school yet so the riding will pick up in a couple of weeks once people are settled in.

Congrats Amanda! That is cool:)

You will meet people soon. And pushing yourself, makes you a better rider.

Good luck with your races this coming weekend, Amanda. Have confidence, ride strong, and ride smart, you'll do fine.

9000ft? You racing in Winterpark or where?
