So as I was riding yesterday, I did something to my little pinky. Here's how it happened. Nick and I were out for a ride and I was behind him. I decided to move out from behind him and all of a sudden there was a huge pot hole. I hit it at probably 22-23mph. For some reason, my pinky started hurting. I either jammed it, sprained it, or broke it. Whichever it is, it's hurting pretty bad. It's really swollen (as you can see in the picture) and starting to turn a bunch of different colors. Fortunantly I can still ride my bike. I just have to take my hand of the handlebar when I go over bumps. When we got done riding, I noticed my front tire was slightly deflated. I woke up this morning and it was flat. Stupid pot holes!
I heard we got around 1.5" of ice. No wonder the power lines were down all over the place. After the ice cleared, it looked like a tornado had gone through the county. There's still branches all over the place. 
Maggie was bored too.
The temps are starting to warm up. Looks like next week is supposed to be in the 50's. Just in time for the start of Tues/Thurs group rides. That's all for now! Good night!

Just finished pulling the rest of the broken limbs out of the trees tonight. Birds are chirping. I think that might have been the worst of it. Hurray for spring, damnit.
I think I might have to bail on Sunday. Figure I should try to make at least one of the Team 14 training events this year, and I'll be in DsM Saturday anyhows. Less driving more riding, yay.
Maybe I'll try to catch the end of the Tuesday group ride, what time do they start?
Figured you learned a lesson about riding w/Nick already, geesh he's dangerous. First a dented top tube, now a jammed pinky...;)

Bailing on Sunday...bummer. I was hoping you'd bring the banana so we can have farmers give us weird looks and take pictures haha.
I think the group ride starts at 5:30 doesn't it?? Heck if I know. I don't even know how many people will show up.
I guess I never learned my lesson about riding with Nick. Third times a charm ey?

hey I just got back from Vegas-NASCAR... it was an awesome event! I'll post pictures either later today or tomorrow I made sure that I took a lot of pics for you ;)
